Founder note
Yaama,
I am a proud Gamilaroi and Bundjalung woman, born and raised on Awabakal Country in Newcastle.
This photo holds my whole heart. That’s my Pop, the man behind Deadly Skincare, and the reason I never stopped believing in myself.
When I was little, he would give me $5 a day out of his pension so I could get to school. Even when he had so little, he gave so much because he believed that education, culture, and strength could open doors, not just for me, but for all of us. He always told me: “Never forget where you come from.” And I never have.
He lived with that pride every single day. He loved our culture, loved his bush walks, loved my Nan, and loved the land. He had a deep respect for agriculture, knowledge, and the power of education.
The teachings of my late Grandfather and Grandmother have
shaped who I am and they are the spirit of Deadly Skincare.
Deadly Skincare was born from a calling: to share the powerful benefits of our native botanicals while making a lasting impact on the beauty industry.
I saw a gap not just for skincare using native botanicals, but for skincare that truly celebrates and honours cultural richness, healing traditions, and our deep connection to Country.
At Deadly Skincare, ancient ingredients meets modern skincare. We craft high-performance and clinically backed ethical skincare that delivers real results without compromise.
Every product is a tribute to my heritage, my community, and to celebrate our stories.
Through Deadly Skincare, I aim to empower, educate, and foster a deeper appreciation for Indigenous culture while building a more sustainable, ethical future for the beauty industry.
We don’t just make skincare. We tell stories. We celebrate culture.
Gaba Nginda (thank you).
Yaalu (later).
